Bruno Valsangiacomo - Non-Executive Co-Chairman

Bruno Valsangiacomo is a graduate of the School of Economics and Administration in Zurich. He is a seasoned corporate banker and entrepreneur with interests in various industries in Switzerland, Poland and the Far East. Mr. Valsangiacomo founded the company Fincoord ltd. in 1991. He is chairman of the BBR Group, vice-chairman of Stahlton, executive chairman of the ITI Group (Polish Media Group) and a director of several other companies.

Marcel Poser - Executive Co-Chairman

Marcel Poser is a professional Engineer and member of the Swiss Association of Engineers and Architects (SIA). He is a graduate of Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland and postgraduate of The University of Texas at Austin. In 2002, Marcel joined the BBR Group as project manager, where he subsequently led technical development as Chief Technical Officer. From 2006 until 2011, Marcel was the CEO of BBR VT International Ltd. In 2011, Marcel was promoted CEO of the Tectus Group. He is a director on various Tectus Group companies. 


Nikolai Ahrens - Board Member

Nikolai Ahrens is a graduate of Oxford University in Biochemistry and holds a doctorate degree in Cell Biology and Physiology. He started his investment banking career in 1993 and has held a number of senior management positions at S.G. Warburg, J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Lehman Brothers and Nomura until the end of 2012. During his banking career he advised leading industrial and private equity clients on merger and acquisition as well as capital raising transactions in the chemical, media and diversified industrial sectors. Nikolai joined FFC Fincoord Finance Coordinators as Managing Partner in February, 2013.

Nick Brandestini – Board Member

Nick Brandestini holds a Master's Degree of Business Administration from the University of Zurich. Prior to joining Proceq, Mr. Brandestini worked at the financial consulting firm Fincoord. He started working at Proceq in 2007 in the Supply Chain department and acted as Head of Global Marketing until 2012 when he was promoted to Board Member of Proceq. Mr. Brandestini also worked as a producer and editor at the music television channel VIVA. In addition, he directs and produces documentary and image films.

Peter Ekberg - Board Member

Peter Ekberg holds a degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and is a Swiss Chartered Public Accountant.
He is CFO of the Tectus Group with investments in Proceq, BBR, Stahlton and Vektor AG. He started his career with KPMG Zurich in 1980, specializing in international audit referrals and due diligence engagements. Before joining Tectus in early 2001, he was Corporate Controller for an international strap machine manufacturer and headed Finance for the middle European subsidiaries of an English health club group.

Romano Fanconi - Board Member

Romano Fanconi joined the ITI Group in 1995 and holds the position of Corporate Secretary. He heads the Corporate Administration Services in the ITI Group and is a Managing Partner of FFC Fincoord Finance Coordinators Ltd., an investment banking and advisory firm located in Zurich, which he joined in 1995. He has been a member of the TVN supervisory board since 2004. Prior to joining the ITI Group he held various positions at UBS and Credit Suisse. He holds a Bachelors degree from the Lucerne School of Economics, Business and Administration.

Oliver Oh - Board Member

Oliver Oh holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UMIST, Manchester and an MBA from IMD, Lausanne. He began his professional career with ABB where he accrued experience as Project and Sales Manager in India, China, Ghana, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Before joining Proceq in 2002, he worked as a Management Consultant in Zurich. Oliver Oh relocated to Singapore towards the end of 2004 to start-up a new subsidiary that became operational from 01.01.2005. In 2006 he returned to Switzerland as CEO of the Proceq Group. In 2014 he was promoted to Board Member of Proceq and joined the Tectus Group Executive Committee.

Ralph Mennicke - CEO Proceq Group

Dr. Ralph Mennicke completed his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics at the University of York (UK) and the Technical University of Munich, and he holds an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School. Mr. Mennicke began his professional career as a global Product Manager at Proceq in 2007, with a focus on the metal testing product portfolio and an intensified engagement in the Asian markets. Subsequently, he led the business unit Proceq Europe, and was then promoted to Deputy CEO of the Proceq Group in 2012 and to CEO in 2014. Mr. Mennicke holds the convenorship of ISO, DIN and SNV standards groups for Leeb hardness testing.

Robert Shaffer - Head of Global Sales and General Manager Proceq USA

Robert Shaffer holds a Master’s Degree in Education Systems Management from Chapman College. He started his career in electronic navigation and communication systems for the US Air Force. Later, he held various management positions at Foerster Instruments and became its President and General Manager in 1997. He joined Proceq USA in 2002 as the managing director and he is also responsible for Proceq’s global sales organization and acts as Proceq's Deputy CEO.

Ramine Eskandari - Deputy Head of Global Sales and General Manager Proceq Europe

Ramine Eskandari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from IMD. He began his career in strategic market research where he consulted with Fortune 500 companies. Before he joined Proceq in 2007, he was working as Product Manager for business analytics at SAP AG.
 
 
 

 

 

Vijeyasingam – Deputy Head of Global Sales and General Manager Proceq Asia

Vijeyasingam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) with the award of First Class Honours from University of Leicester, England. He began his professional career with ABB Malaysia as a design engineer for electrical substations in 1996. In 1999, he was seconded to ABB Switzerland to handle sales for secondary turnkey solutions for South East Asian markets. Overall, Vijeyasingam has 10 years of International Business (Engineering) experience with ABB and Alstom before starting work with Proceq Asia, effective 1st Jan 2007.

Matthias Hilzinger - CFO Proceq Group

Prior to joining the Tectus group of companies in 2002, he worked as Group Controller and Company Secretary for Pelikan Hardcopy, an international manufacturer and distributor of printer accessories.
He started his career with Deloitte & Touche AG, Zurich in 1984, specializing in international audit referrals reporting under US- GAAP and IAS. In 1988, Mr. Hilzinger qualified as a Swiss Chartered Public Accountant.



Patrick Waller – Head of Supply Chain

Patrick Waller holds a Dipl. Mechanical Engineering FH degree from School of Engineering Zürich. He began his career with Uster Technologies AG as a designer and later as a mechanical engineer in 1999. He started working at Proceq in 2006 as a mechanical engineer before becoming the Head of Supply Chain in 2012.

 

 

Gerd Bühler - Head of Technology

Gerd Bühler holds a Dipl. El. Ing. ETH degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. In the year 2000 he started his career with Siemens as Project Manager and Developer for different Intrusion detectors. After joining Proceq in 2005 as Project Manager and Development Engineer, he took up the position of Head of Technology after one year.



Janko Meier – Head of Product Management

Janko Meier has a background in electrical engineering and started his professional career at Siemens Building Technologies where he developed new products in the application area Intrusion Detection. Janko Meier moved to Proceq in 2007 as Project Leader in the Technology department. Prior to becoming Head of Product Management and member of the Management Team in 2013, he acted as Product Manager Concrete successfully introducing and supporting a broad range of products.



André Näf – Head of Global Marketing

André Näf holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He started his professional career during his studies by developing web solutions through his own company. Prior to joining Proceq in 2012, André Näf held several Marketing and Communications positions in national and international companies. He has over ten years experience in Online- and B2B-Marketing, Strategy and Communications.

 

 

 

Malcolm Lim – General Manager Proceq Technical Services

Malcolm Lim was educated at the University of New Hampshire, earning a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration on Material Science and Nondestructive testing. With over twenty five years of experience, he is a recognized expert in nondestructive testing and evaluation. Malcolm Lim has authored and co-authored numerous publications on the use of nondestructive testing techniques in evaluation of structural members. He joined Proceq in 2012.
