Bruno Valsangiacomo
Non-Executive Co-Chairman

Bruno Valsangiacomo is a successful entrepreneur and multi-industrialist.  He is Founding Shareholder and Executive Chairman of ITI Group. Since its formation in 1991, ITI Group built the largest broadcasting, media and entertainment group in Poland, and its core company, publicly listed TVN Group, was sold to Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. in 2015. Bruno is Executive Chairman of the Tectus Group, which he has led since 2000, expanding the group’s focus from construction, engineering and real estate to new technologies in media, consumer and biomedical markets. Since 1997 Bruno has been a Director of BBR Holdings (S) Ltd as well as a Board Member of other Tectus Group associated companies. He is founder of Tectus Dreamlab Pte Ltd, a cross-functional research centre in Fusionopolis, Singapore, leading various next-generation initiatives to serve global markets in partnership with Singapore research and government agencies. Bruno is also a founding partner of Metaverse Holdings Ltd, a virtual reality company specialised in virtual live event experiences, NeuroPro Ltd, a company developing next generation tools for applied brain science and The Brain Forum, an independent charitable foundation dedicated to helping fulfil the potential of brain science to benefit humanity. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the School of Economics and Administration in Zurich. Bruno speaks English, German, Italian and French.

Marcel Poser
Executive Co-Chairman

Marcel Poser is a business strategist and technology innovator, experienced in global commercialization and startups across multiple industries. He is CEO of Tectus Group, a family-owned, multinational business headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The company has diverse operations and investments across a variety of market segments ranging from engineering and construction, to digital health, to entertainment and lifestyle. Marcel also serves in leadership positions for several Tectus Group companies. Additionally, he is the founding partner and director of Tectus Dreamlab Pte. Ltd., a cross-functional research center in Fusionopolis, Singapore, and leads various research and development projects in IoT, virtual and augmented reality and construction engineering productivity. Marcel earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. In 2016 Marcel became only the 30th alumni of the University of Texas at Austin, that has been recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate Award. He began his career in the field of construction engineering, working on tunnels and bridges in Switzerland, the European Union, the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the United States. In 2002, he joined Tectus as project manager at the BBR Group, where he subsequently served as CEO of BBR VT International from 2006 to 2011 and spearheaded the development of the world’s largest construction engineering franchise, BBR Network.

Nick Brandestini
Board Member

Nick holds a Master's Degree of Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Tectus Group since 1999 and, in 2012, he became its Vice Chairman. In 2002, Nick joined the team of FFC Fincoord Finance Coordinators Ltd, a privately-owned consulting firm based in Zurich. In 2007, he began work for Proceq Ltd in the supply chain department and, in 2010, became Head of Global Marketing. Nick has also worked as a producer and editor for the music television channel VIVA. In 2013, together with his sister, Vesna Eckert-Brandestini, he founded Envi Films Ltd, a media production company focusing on documentary and image films. He directed the award-winning documentaries Darwin (2011) and Children of the Arctic (2014), among other films. 

Romano Fanconi
Board Member

Romano Fanconi heads the Finance, Administration and Legal Department of the Tectus Group. Romano joined the Tectus Group in 1995 and has gained in depth experience of all aspects of international finance and transactions. He has served as Corporate Secretary of ITI Group, the leading Polish Media and Entertainment Group, for the past 20 years. As part of the ITI Group, Romano contributed to building several international ventures, M&A and international capital market transactions, mainly in the high yield area, including the sale of Poland’s leading commercial broadcaster TVN Group to Scripps Networks International. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the School of Economics and Administration in Lucerne. Romano speaks English, German and French. 

Oliver Oh
Board Member

Oliver Oh holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UMIST, Manchester and an MBA from IMD, Lausanne. He began his professional career with ABB where he accrued experience as Project and Sales Manager in India, China, Ghana, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. Before joining Proceq in 2002, he worked as a Management Consultant in Zurich. Oliver Oh relocated to Singapore towards the end of 2004 to start-up a new subsidiary that became operational from 01.01.2005. In 2006 he returned to Switzerland as CEO of the Proceq Group. In 2014 he became a Board Member of Proceq and joined the Tectus Group Executive Committee. 

Robert Shaffer
Board Member and Chairman Proceq USA

Robert Shaffer holds a Master’s Degree in Education Systems Management from Chapman University. He started his professional career in education then served in the US Air Force specializing in navigation and communication systems. Later, he held various management positions at Foerster Instruments and became its President and General Manager in 1997. He joined Proceq in 2002 as the managing director of Proceq USA. While serving in this position, he was responsible for Proceq’s global sales organization and acted as Proceq's Deputy CEO. In 2015, Robert Shaffer became a Board Member of Proceq and Chairman, Proceq USA.

Ralph Mennicke
CEO Proceq Group & Head of Technology

Dr. Ralph Mennicke completed his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics at the University of York (UK) and the Technical University of Munich, and he holds an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School. Ralph began his professional career as a global Product Manager at Proceq in 2007, with a focus on the metal testing product portfolio and an intensified engagement in the Asian markets. Subsequently, he led the business unit Proceq Europe, and was then promoted to Deputy CEO of the Proceq Group in 2012 and to CEO in 2014. Ralph held the convenorships of ISO, DIN and SNV standards groups for Leeb hardness testing, and is today engaged in the SGZP committee on ultrasonics testing. 

Saira Rajan
Deputy CEO Proceq Group

Saira Rajan holds an MBA from IMD, Switzerland and a degree and diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Temasek Polytechnic in Singapore. She started her career in R&D with Seagate Technology and has since held roles with the Singapore Mass Rapid Transit and Mars UK. She has 9 years of versatile experience in strategy, sales and marketing and operations across engineering, FMCG and non-profit management in Asia and Europe. Saira joined Tectus Group in 2014 as the Associate to the CEO of Tectus Group and spearheaded establishment of Tectus Dreamlab Pte Ltd, a cross-functional research centre in Fusionopolis, Singapore. She has been instrumental in developing key partnerships, while also working on various strategic projects for Tectus Group.

Ramine Eskandari
Head of Global Sales & Marketing

Ramine Eskandari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from IMD. He began his career in strategic market research where he consulted with Fortune 500 companies. Before he joined Proceq in 2007, he was working as Product Manager for business analytics at SAP AG. Ramine restructured Proceq’s Global Supply Chain and has been leading sales and marketing activities in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia since 2012. 

Head of Global Sales & Marketing

Vijeyasingam holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic) with the award of First Class Honours from University of Leicester, England. He began his professional career with ABB Malaysia as a design engineer for electrical substations in 1996. In 1999, he was seconded to ABB Switzerland to handle sales for secondary turnkey solutions for South East Asian markets. Overall, Vijeyasingam had 10 years of International Business (Engineering) experience with ABB and Alstom before starting work as General Manager of Proceq Asia in 2007. Vijeyasingam has grown the Asian business for Proceq with new sales and marketing approaches and has been contributing valuable market feedback from the Asian markets to Proceq’s new products. Since early 2014, he has been responsible also for the key markets China and Japan. 

André Näf
Head of Global Marketing

André Näf holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He started his professional career during his studies by developing web solutions through his own company. Prior to joining Proceq in 2012, André held several Marketing and Communications positions in national and international companies. He has over 15 years' experience in Online and B2B Marketing, Strategy and Communications. At Proceq, André established the company's webinar and social media activities and has implemented a revitalized corporate identity. André was also responsible as coordinator and project leader for the Carboteq product launch at Autosalon 2014 in Geneva (www.carboteq.com), as well as the Proceq 60th Anniversary events worldwide in 2014. 

Hélder Varandas
Head of Finance Proceq Group

Hélder Varandas holds a degree as a chartered accountant from the school of Economics and Business Administration in Zurich. He joined the Tectus Group in January 2009 as Senior Accountant covering the entire range of finance and accounting, being involved in several M&A and capital market transactions and has led various restructuring projects for international groups. In recent years his focus turned to operational controlling mainly for the Proceq Group. As of April 1, 2016 Hélder heads the Finance group of Proceq. 

Patrick Waller
Head of Supply Chain & Group Leader Mechanical Engineering

Patrick Waller holds a Dipl. Mechanical Engineering FH degree from School of Engineering Zürich. He began his career with Uster Technologies AG as a designer and later as a mechanical engineer in 1999. He started working at Proceq in 2006 as a mechanical engineer before becoming Head of Supply Chain in 2012. Since 2016, Patrick also heads the Proceq mechanical engineering group. 

Janko Meier
Head of Product Management

Janko Meier has a background in electrical engineering and started his professional career at Siemens Building Technologies where he developed new products in the Intrusion Detection field. Janko moved to Proceq in 2007 as Project Leader in the Technology department. Prior to becoming Head of Product Management and member of the Management Team in 2013, he acted as Product Manager Concrete successfully introducing and supporting a broad range of products.
