Proceq’s fast-track senior management appointment

July 13th, 2018

Proceq has strengthened its senior management team further with the promotion of Isaac Heng – just a bit more than half a year after he joined the company – to the post of Chief Business Development Officer. This news comes just weeks after the company announced five strategic appointments within its global non-destructive testing (NDT) business which since January 1, 2018, incorporates the team and portfolio of Zehntner.

Based in Singapore, Isaac Heng joined Proceq in October 2017 and has been working as Senior Manager New Product Commercialization. He has now taken up the newly-created role of Chief Business Development Officer within which he will be responsible for creating broader understanding of how Proceq is harnessing new technologies – such as Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) – for NDT and fostering further innovation and business expansion.

“This speedy promotion endorses all the reasons that I chose to join Proceq,” said Isaac Heng. “It is a dynamic company that is focused on engaging positively with the latest technology to harness the benefits for customers globally. In my 20 years within the NDT sector, it really excites me to be part of an organization which is taking a visionary and holistic stance within the industry. In fact, much more than this, Proceq is putting its vision into reality through its new range of ‘Live’ technology and acquisition of the Zehntner company and portfolio.”

Isaac joins other Proceq senior management team members – Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Ralph Mennicke, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Hélder Varandas and Chief Operating Officer (COO) Patrick Waller.

Dr. Ralph Mennicke stated: “When Isaac was appointed, we recognized that he offered exceptional skills and broad experiences in NDT, and are now delighted to welcome him to the senior management team. Without doubt, his work – alongside that of our excellent global team – will encourage more innovation and success as we pursue our digital and diversification agenda.”

Marcel Poser, Proceq Executive Chairman and Tectus Group CEO commented: “Within Proceq, as in the whole of the Tectus Group, there are always opportunities for outstanding people who share our vision and have a passion for innovation and the future. We are committed to investing in team members who are prepared to step up and drive further success for our businesses.”
