Bruno Valsangiacomo is a successful entrepreneur and multi-industrialist. He is Founding Shareholder and Executive Chairman of ITI Group. Since its formation in 1991, ITI Group built the largest broadcasting, media and entertainment group in Poland, and its core company, publicly listed TVN Group, was sold to Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. in 2015. Bruno is Executive Chairman of the Tectus Group, which he has led since 2000, expanding the group’s focus from construction, engineering and real estate to new technologies in media, consumer and biomedical markets. Since 1997 Bruno has been a Director of BBR Holdings (S) Ltd as well as a Board Member of other Tectus Group associated companies. He is founder of Tectus Dreamlab Pte Ltd, a cross-functional research centre in Fusionopolis, Singapore, leading various next-generation initiatives to serve global markets in partnership with Singapore research and government agencies. Bruno is also a founding partner of Metaverse Holdings Ltd, a virtual reality company specialized in virtual live event experiences, NeuroPro Ltd, a company developing next generation tools for applied brain science and The Brain Forum, an independent charitable foundation dedicated to helping fulfill the potential of brain science to benefit humanity. He graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the School of Economics and Administration in Zurich. Bruno speaks English, German, Italian and French.
Marcel Poser Executive Co-Chairman
Marcel Poser is a business strategist and technology innovator, experienced in global commercialization and startups across multiple industries. He is CEO of Tectus Group, a family-owned, multinational business headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. The company has diverse operations and investments across a variety of market segments ranging from engineering and construction, to digital health, to entertainment and lifestyle. Marcel also serves in leadership positions for several Tectus Group companies. Additionally, he is the founding partner and director of Tectus Dreamlab Pte. Ltd., a cross-functional research center in Fusionopolis, Singapore, and leads various research and development projects in IoT, virtual and augmented reality and construction engineering productivity. Marcel earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Zurich University of Applied Sciences and a master’s degree from the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. In 2016 Marcel became only the 30th alumni of the University of Texas at Austin, that has been recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Young Engineering Graduate Award. He began his career in the field of construction engineering, working on tunnels and bridges in Switzerland, the European Union, the Asia-Pacific region, Africa and the United States. In 2002, he joined Tectus as project manager at the BBR Group, where he subsequently served as CEO of BBR VT International from 2006 to 2011 and spearheaded the development of the world’s largest construction engineering franchise, BBR Network.
Nick Brandestini Board Member
Nick holds a Master's Degree of Business Administration from the University of Zurich. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Tectus Group since 1999 and, in 2012, he became its Vice Chairman. In 2002, Nick joined the team of FFC Fincoord Finance Coordinators Ltd, a privately-owned consulting firm based in Zurich. In 2007, he began work for Proceq Ltd in the supply chain department and, in 2010, became Head of Global Marketing. Nick has also worked as a producer and editor for the music television channel VIVA. In 2013, together with his sister, Vesna Eckert-Brandestini, he founded Envi Films Ltd, a media production company focusing on documentary and image films. He directed the award-winning documentaries Darwin (2011) and Children of the Arctic (2014), among other films.
Romano Fanconi Board Member
Romano Fanconi heads the Finance, Administration and Legal Department of the Tectus Group. Romano joined the Tectus Group in 1995 and has gained in depth experience of all aspects of international finance and transactions. He has served as Corporate Secretary of ITI Group, the leading Polish Media and Entertainment Group, for the past 20 years. As part of the ITI Group, Romano contributed to building several international ventures, M&A and international capital market transactions, mainly in the high yield area, including the sale of Poland’s leading commercial broadcaster TVN Group to Scripps Networks International. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the School of Economics and Administration in Lucerne. Romano speaks English, German and French.
Antonio Caballero Board Member
Dr. Antonio Caballero has a master degree in Civil Engineering as well as a PhD in computational fracture mechanics from the School of Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Antonio joined BBR VT International Ltd in 2009 as Head of R&D, later becoming General Manager - Head of Technology and, since 2014 he led BBR VT International Ltd as its CEO. Under his leadership, BBR VT International Ltd expanded its product and technologies portfolio and introduced new business lines - all of which resulted in enlarging the geographical reach of the BBR Network into new territories. As of January 2019, Antonio joined the Tectus Group as its CTO, a newly-created cross-functional position focused on harnessing and developing business synergies arising in the fields of technical excellence and digital technology. This promotion also saw Dr. Caballero becoming a Board member at Proceq SA.
Ralph Mennicke CEO Proceq Group
Dr. Ralph Mennicke completed his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Physics at the University of York (UK) and the Technical University of Munich, and he holds an Executive MBA from Mannheim Business School. Ralph began his professional career as a global Product Manager at Proceq in 2007, with a focus on the metal testing product portfolio and an intensified engagement in the Asian markets. Subsequently, he led the business unit Proceq Europe, and was then promoted to Deputy CEO of the Proceq Group in 2012 and to CEO in 2014. Ralph held the convenorships of ISO, DIN and SNV standards groups for Leeb hardness testing, and is today engaged in the SGZP committee on ultrasonics testing.
Hélder Varandas CFO Proceq Group
Hélder Varandas holds a degree as a chartered accountant from the school of Economics and Business Administration in Zurich. He joined the Tectus Group in January 2009 as Senior Accountant covering the entire range of finance and accounting, being involved in several M&A and capital market transactions and has led various restructuring projects for international groups. In recent years his focus turned to operational controlling mainly for the Proceq Group. As of April 1, 2016 Hélder heads the Finance group of Proceq.
Patrick Waller COO Proceq Group
Patrick Waller holds a Dipl. Mechanical Engineering FH degree from School of Engineering Zürich. He began his career with Uster Technologies AG as a designer and later as a mechanical engineer in 1999. He started working at Proceq in 2006 as a mechanical engineer before becoming Head of Supply Chain in 2012. Since 2016, Patrick also heads the Proceq mechanical engineering group.
Isaac Heng CBDO Proceq Group
Isaac Heng holds a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore and Bachelor of Science Degree in Management with International Business from Royal Holloway, University of London. He began his career in 1997 as an NDT Specialist in Military and Commercial Aerospace before moving to NDT equipment Sales & Marketing in 2007. He joined Proceq in September 2017 as Senior Manager for New Product Commercialization promoting new technologies like IoT, A.I., A.R. and Big Data with the new range of Live products globally.Shortly in June 2018, he was promoted to be the Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) for Proceq Group.
